Local authorities in St. Paul have announced that they will not prosecute journalists who were arrested on misdemeanor charges during the Republican National Convention earlier this month. Their arrests fit the pattern of intimidating media and political opponents. Very effective, but anti-democratic. Remember the arrests during the NYC Republican convention?
